General information
CILTA organizes Italian courses for international students participating in university exchange programmes (Erasmus, Erasmus Mundus, Overseas, etc.) and for international students enrolled at the University of Bologna (degree programs, single courses, Master’s and PhD programs) or at the Fine Arts Academy of Bologna.
Two types of Italian courses are offered:
1. Preparatory courses for university lessons;
2. Courses on request.
For the 2012-2013 academic year, the following courses will be offered
- A1 – absolute beginner: 10 weeks assisted self-study with online materials; guidance from tutors and 5 classroom-based lessons with the teacher
- A2 – Elementary: 30 hours of lessons with an instructor + 20 hours of guided course-based self-study.
- B1 – Intermediate: 30 hours of lessons with an instructor + 20 hours of guided course-based self-study.
- B2 – Upper-intermediate: 30 hours of lessons with an instructor + 20 hours of guided course-based self-study.
Lessons are held between 8.30 am and 8.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
The University of Bologna awards 5 ECTS credits to international students participating in exchange programmes (Erasmus, Erasmus Mundus, Overseas, etc) who attend at least 2/3 of the classroom-based lessons and pass the end-of-course test.
Italian language course are scheduled in the following periods:
- September-October;
- October-December;
- February-March.
